У цій збірці оповідань ми маємо можливість зануритися в історію детектива Джона Ребуса, який, незважаючи на свої недоліки, завжди залишається неймовірно харизматичним і цікавим персонажем. Автор, Ян Ренкін, майстерно переплітає елементи драми, напруги та гумору, створюючи захоплюючі сюжети, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Читачі можуть насолоджуватися як ранніми пригодами Ребуса, так і його зрілими роками, що робить цю книгу ідеальною як для новачків, так і для давніх шанувальників.
