The daughter of a famous banker, student Philippa Balfour, has disappeared in Edinburgh. The investigation is entrusted to the team of John Rebus. The police have two leads. Захоплюючий трилер, який не відпускає до останньої сторінки!

Книга "Водоспад" вразила мене своєю інтригуючою сюжетною лінією та глибокими персонажами. Розслідування зникнення студентки Філіпи Бальфур, яке веде досвідчений детектив Джон Ребус, сповнене несподіваних поворотів і загадок. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи класичного детективу з сучасними технологіями, що робить історію ще більш актуальною. Особливо сподобалась динаміка між Ребусом та його помічницею Шивон Кларк — їхня взаємодія додає сюжету глибини та емоційності. Відкриття, які вони роблять під час розслідування, змушують замислитися про теми, як-от вплив інтернету на молодь та таємниці, які можуть ховатися за звичайними обличчями.
