For the first time, all three lifetime poetry collections of Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Teffi (1872–1952) are published in full in one book: “Seven Lights” (1910), “Passiflora” (1923) and “Shamram: Songs of the East” (1923), including the one included into the first collection and never reprinted play “The Afternoon of the Zohara: The Legend of Babylon.” Teffi was crowned during her lifetime with the title of “Queen of Russian Laughter” and is popular among readers mainly in this capacity. A selection of satirical and lyrical poems from pre-revolutionary and emigrant periodicals, little-known stories and plays, and memoirs will expand the understanding of the multifaceted talent of the writer.

Відкриття для шанувальників поезії!

Книга "Алмазна пил" — це справжній скарб для всіх, хто цінує поетичне слово та творчість Надії Олександрівни Теффі. Вперше в одному виданні зібрані всі три її прижиттєві поетичні збірки, що дозволяє читачеві повністю зануритися в її творчий світ. Теффі, відома як "королева російського сміху", вміло поєднує сатиру та ліризм, що робить її вірші не лише цікавими, а й глибокими. Особливо вразила п'єса "Півдня Дзохари: Легенда Вавилона", яка, на жаль, не була перевидана раніше. Текст книги, хоч і перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в основному, зберігає красу оригіналу, хоча іноді трапляються невеликі недоліки у перекладі. Незважаючи на це, я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче розширити свої горизонти в поезії та дізнатися більше про багатогранний талант Теффі. Вона дійсно заслуговує на увагу та визнання!
