Book snow goose
“Have you ever heard this strange legend about a wild goose? She then walked around the entire coast... Among my evacuees there were several people who talked about it among themselves. It was as if the goose appeared every time between Dunkirk and La Panni, and whoever saw it would certainly escape.” Paul Gallico wrote this story in 1941. His fame as a writer began with it.
I once translated this wonderful book at the suggestion of Natalya Leonidovna Trauberg and Olga Neve. “The Snow Goose” was published in the magazine “Youth” (October, 1994), with a foreword by Olga Neve.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
