The reader's attention is invited to the correspondence of the philosophers Mic. Lifshitz (1905–1983) and D. Lukács (1885–1971). It dates back to 1931–1970. and includes all known letters. Their originals are in the D. Lukács Archive (Hungary). With rare exceptions, letters are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The appendix to the correspondence contains 12 documentary materials characterizing the official historical background against which this correspondence unfolded. Most of the application materials are also published for the first time.

Вражаюче дослідження філософських ідей через призму особистого листування!

Книга "Листування. 1931–1970" є справжнім скарбом для всіх, хто цікавиться філософією та історією думки. Листи Мих. Ліфшиця та Д. Лукача відкривають перед читачем не лише їхні інтелектуальні дискусії, а й особисті переживання, які формували їхні погляди. Це видання не лише вводить у науковий обіг раніше невідомі документи, але й надає контекст, в якому розгорталися ці листи, завдяки додатку з документальними матеріалами. Читання цієї книги стає подорожжю в часі, що дозволяє зрозуміти, як філософи реагували на виклики свого часу.
