Книга "Справа серця" - це справжній шедевр, який відкриває завісу над історією кардіохірургії через призму 11 знакових операцій. Автор, Томас Моріс, вміло поєднує науку з людськими емоціями, розкриваючи не лише технічні аспекти, але й людські історії, які стоять за цими операціями. Читач має можливість відчути натхнення, страх і відвагу лікарів-першовідкривачів, які ризикували своїми кар'єрами та життями заради порятунку пацієнтів. Особливо вражає, як автор підкреслює важливість команди, що складається не лише з хірургів, але й психологів, інженерів та інших фахівців, які сприяли розвитку цієї галузі. Книга написана доступною мовою, що робить її зрозумілою навіть для тих, хто не має медичної освіти.
