Сборник стихов и песен эпохи Эдо, подготовленный Александром Долиным, стал для меня настоящим открытием. Уникальная подборка произведений, написанных гейшами, погружает читателя в атмосферу японской культуры XVII – начала XIX века. Удивительно, как в этих строках сочетаются утонченность классической поэзии и непосредственность народных песен. Каждое произведение передает эмоции радости и печали, рассказывая о мимолетных встречах и скорбной участи девушек из веселых кварталов. Иллюстрации шедевров гравюры укиё-э, таких как Утамаро и Хокусай, прекрасно дополняют текст, создавая визуальное наслаждение.
