Його спостереження про людей, яких він зустрічає, наповнені дотепністю та проникливістю, що робить їх надзвичайно цікавими і близькими. Кожна сторінка книги - це новий відкритий горизонт, нові знайомства та глибокі роздуми про ідентичність британців. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, книга все ж залишається вражаючою та надихає на власні подорожі.
