Автор майстерно описує свої пригоди, використовуючи різні види транспорту, що додає динаміки та енергії до його розповіді. Він не просто мандрує, а глибоко занурюється в культуру, політику та повсякденне життя африканців, що дозволяє читачеві отримати більш повне уявлення про континент.
