Not far from the village, in the middle of a field, an empty KamAZ truck was discovered, and nearby in the river - the corpse of a truck driver. Investigator Vorontsov, who arrived at the scene of the incident, suspects of murder not only the fellow traveler who was driving this car, but also - no less, no less - the entire village! He goes around house after house, trying to find at least the slightest clue, at least some item stolen from KamAZ, but all in vain.
