Неперевершена історія про справедливість і людські страждання

"Камені замість сердець" - це книга, яка захоплює з перших сторінок і не відпускає до самого кінця. Метью Шардлейк, незважаючи на свої фізичні вади та розчарування в житті, є справжнім втіленням сили духу і непохитності. Його розслідування, яке починається як звичайна справа, перетворюється на глибоке занурення в темряву людських душ і таємниць, які приховують їхні серця. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу епохи, передаючи всі нюанси життя в Англії 1545 року, а також показує, як жорстокість і зрада можуть знищити навіть найсвітліші надії. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватись глибоким сюжетом і емоційною напругою.
