Автор вміло поєднує легкість оповіді з серйозними темами, такими як дружба, кохання і зрада, що робить книгу не лише веселою, але й мудрою. Його гарики та короткі оповідання настільки живі, що ви відчуваєте себе частиною кожної історії. Особливо вражає, як Губерман вміє знайти позитив навіть у найнудніших ситуаціях, перетворюючи їх на захоплюючі пригоди.
