Roger Joseph Zilazni (b. 1937) is a world-famous American science fiction writer, one of those who began the countdown of the “new wave” in Anglo-American science fiction literature. All works of R. Zilazni are distinguished by deep psychologism and high literary skill and the unusual interpretation of traditional science fiction plots. The proposed book introduces the reader to the early period of R. Zilazni’s work - the novels “The Creator of Dreams” (1966), “This Immortal” (1966) and “Island of the Dead” (1969), which had a significant influence for the further development of this genre.
