I copied this “Elegy” from the “Chrestomathy” of Latin literature, in my opinion, in 1978. I took it on trips and read it to friends, mostly women. And they invariably liked her, regardless of education, position, etc. I think that female readers (and male readers!) will like this publication too.

Неперевершене поєднання гумору та поезії!

Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Вона наповнена веселими моментами, які змушують сміятися вголос, а також дотепними та фривольними рядками, які змушують задуматися про глибші речі. Автор вдало поєднує класичну поезію з сучасним контекстом, що робить читання ще більш захоплюючим. Я була вражена, як легко і невимушено текст переходить від серйозного до іронічного, викликаючи усмішку на обличчі. Хоча книга не для всіх, я вважаю, що ті, хто має почуття гумору і не боїться фривольності, отримають справжнє задоволення від читання. Переклад, хоч і має деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися текстом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче провести час з користю та посмішкою!
