Book Black Spring
Black Spring was written in the 1930s in Paris and, together with the novels Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn, forms a kind of autobiographical trilogy. The novel was banned in the United States for being “immoral,” and it wasn’t until 1961 that the Supreme Court overturned the ban. Nowadays “Black Spring” is rightfully considered a classic of world literature.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
