Неперевершене поєднання магії та реальності!

"Єрусалимський покер" - це не просто книга, а справжня подорож у часі та просторі, що занурює читача в атмосферу Єрусалиму початку 20 століття. Едвард Уітмор майстерно створює світ, де гра в покер стає метафорою для боротьби за владу, контроль і навіть за душі людей. Персонажі, кожен з яких має свою унікальну історію та мотивацію, вражають своєю глибиною та колоритом. Блакитноокий негр, ірландець та колишній полковник - це не просто герої, а символи різних культур і світоглядів, які переплітаються в цій захоплюючій оповіді. Стиль автора, порівняний з Пінчоном, дійсно вражає своєю багатошаровістю та іронічністю. Хоча переклад іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить глибокі, інтелектуальні твори з елементами магічного реалізму!
