Each chapter is a page of history through the eyes of writers and poets who witnessed the main events of the era in which they lived and created. The first volume includes lectures on the works of such outstanding personalities as Chekhov, Gorky, Mayakovsky, Yesenin, Platonov, Nabokov and others. Dmitry Bykov seems to take us back to the year in which this or that book was created. The book is based on the popular program “One Hundred Lectures with Dmitry Bykov.”

Вражаюче занурення в епоху!

Книга "Час потрясінь. 1900-1950 рр." - це неймовірно цінний внесок у вивчення російської літератури та історії ХХ століття. Дмитро Биков, як автор, майстерно поєднує літературний аналіз із історичним контекстом, що дозволяє читачеві не лише зрозуміти, але й відчути атмосферу тих буремних часів. Кожен розділ - це своєрідна подорож у минуле, де письменники і поети стають свідками важливих подій, які формували їхню творчість. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути не зовсім точними, це не зменшує загальної цінності книги. Вона спонукає до роздумів і відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння російської літератури. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією, літературою та культурою!
