Вражаюча подорож у світ Вікторіанської Англії!

Роман "Багряна пелюстка і біла" - це справжня літературна перлина, яка занурює читача в атмосферу епохи, сповненої суперечностей і глибоких соціальних проблем. Мішель Фабер майстерно малює картину життя Вільяма Реккета та його таємного захоплення Сугар, показуючи, як їхні долі переплітаються у світі, де бажання та моральні цінності постійно конфліктують. Книга вражає не лише глибиною персонажів, але й детальним описом звичаїв, традицій та життя людей у той час. Фабер зуміла створити настільки реалістичний світ, що читач відчуває себе частиною цієї історії. Хоча переклад має деякі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання.
