Неперевершене дослідження античної ботаніки!

Книга "Сільфій - трава ангела" є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться історією рослин і їх використанням в античності. Автор детально аналізує античні тексти та неписьмові джерела, що дозволяє читачеві зануритися в світ давніх знань про сильфій та його різновиди. Я вражений тим, як вдало поєднуються наукові дані з історичними фактами, що робить цю книгу не лише інформаційною, але й захоплюючою. Особливо цікаво було дізнатися про використання сильфію воїнами Олександра Македонського та його значення в античній кулінарії. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загалом він не заважає сприйняттю змісту. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто прагне розширити свої знання про рослинний світ і його історію!
