The novel by A. Boussenard (1847–1910) “The Band of Arsonists, or the Bandits of Orgers,” based on the case of the Orgers arsonists, which took place in France at the end of the 18th century, is a fascinating story in which a love affair, a confrontation between two brothers, Viscount de Montville and the bandit leader, unfold against the backdrop of dramatic events taking place in the province of Beauce. The novel was published as a separate book in France only in 1997, on the 150th anniversary of the author’s birth, and was published for the first time in Russian.

Захоплююча історія з елементами драми та інтриг!

Роман «Банда паліїв, або Бандити з Оржера» – це справжня перлина літератури, яка переносить читача в атмосферу Франції наприкінці XVIII століття. Автор, А. Буссенар, майстерно поєднує історичні факти з вигаданими подіями, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Любовна інтрига між братами, віконтом де Монвілем та бандитським ватажком, розгортається на фоні драматичних подій, що робить роман ще більш цікавим. Хоча текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можуть бути незначні недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами драми та інтриг!
