The novel by A. Boussenard (1847–1910) “The Band of Arsonists, or the Bandits of Orgers,” based on the case of the Orgers arsonists, which took place in France at the end of the 18th century, is a fascinating story in which a love affair, a confrontation between two brothers, Viscount de Montville and the bandit leader, unfold against the backdrop of dramatic events taking place in the province of Beauce. The novel was published as a separate book in France only in 1997, on the 150th anniversary of the author’s birth, and was published for the first time in Russian.

Неперевершений історичний роман, що захоплює з перших сторінок!

Роман «Банда паліїв, або Бандити з Оржера» А. Буссенара — це справжня перлина літератури, що вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу Франції наприкінці XVIII століття, занурюючи читача в світ інтриг, зради та боротьби за владу. Сюжет, заснований на реальних подіях, не лише захоплює, але й змушує задуматися про моральні дилеми, з якими стикаються герої. Протистояння між братами, віконтом де Монвілем та бандитським ватажком, створює напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Любовна інтрига додає ще більше емоційності, а яскраві персонажі залишають незабутнє враження. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну історичну прозу та захоплюючі сюжети!
