Jun Fosse (born 1959) is known in Norway primarily as a prose writer and playwright, and a very successful playwright: his plays are staged not only in Scandinavia, but throughout Europe. However, Fosse also has a “poetic hypostasis”: he published several collections of poetry. From them you can see that the poet has favorite poetic forms - for example, he clearly gravitates towards the tenth line. Fosse's poetry is the poetry of the gaze, when the poet strives to give the reader a visual image, completely “objectifying” it and “removing” reflection and personal commentary from the text. These poems are somewhat similar to engravings, where there are no halftones - only black and white, but at the same time there is a strong emotional charge.

The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
