“The History of the Future” occupies a special place in the writer’s work. Begun in the late 1930s with the story "Lifeline" and subsequently continued with such classics as "The Man Who Sold the Moon", "The Green Hills of the Earth", "Stepchildren of the Universe", it covers a huge time span in the history of space exploration, as Heinlein imagined it. In this story of his, heroic eras give way to eras of dictatorships, the world turns into war only to turn into peace again - a lot of things happen on man's path to the future. Only man is unchanged - seeking, struggling, winning, doubting, loving, humane. In this edition, some of the translations are made anew, others are given in a new edition.

Вражаюча подорож у майбутнє!

Книга "Пасинки Всесвіту. Історія майбутнього" є справжнім шедевром у жанрі наукової фантастики, який переносить читача в епоху, коли освоєння космосу стає не лише мрією, а й реальністю. Автор, Роберт Хайнлайн, майстерно поєднує елементи героїзму, філософії та соціальної критики, створюючи багатошарову картину майбутнього, де людина залишається в центрі всіх подій. Читачі можуть спостерігати за еволюцією людства, його боротьбою за виживання та пошуками сенсу в умовах змін, які постійно супроводжують його шлях. Особливо вражає, як автор передає людські емоції, сумніви та надії, роблячи персонажів реалістичними та близькими. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути недосконалими, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує якісну наукову фантастику та хоче замислитися над майбутнім людства!
