This book is a document of history. For the first time in 70 years, all the diaries of children of the Great Patriotic War that AIF journalists were able to discover were collected in one volume. Terrible and honest evidence of what millions of little residents of a great country had to go through and experience. For the sake of their memory, for the sake of preserving these manuscripts, this book was published. More than half of the 35 diaries are published for the first time.

Неперевершене свідчення дитячої стійкості та мужності

Ця книга є справжнім документом історії, який відкриває очі на жахливі реалії Великої Вітчизняної війни через призму дитячих щоденників. Читання цих свідчень змушує замислитися про те, як війна вплинула на життя мільйонів дітей, які, незважаючи на жахи, зберігали надію та мрії. Збірка щоденників, більшість з яких публікується вперше, є важливим внеском у збереження пам'яті про ті часи. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути недосконалими, це не зменшує цінності та емоційної сили тексту.
