The action involves a 220-year expedition to an extrasolar planet aboard a caravan of huge iceteroid ‘holoships’, the tension between human and artificial intelligence… and, of course, elephants.Lots of elephants.

"На сталевому бриз" - це захоплююче продовження "Blue Remembered Earth", яке вражає своєю глибиною та оригінальністю. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи наукової фантастики з емоційними переживаннями героїв, що робить читання не лише цікавим, а й дуже зворушливим. Центральна героїня Чіку, хоч і нова, але відчувається як частина великої родини Акінья, і її подорож на екстрасонячну планету стає справжнім епічним випробуванням. Напруга між людьми та штучним інтелектом, а також присутність слонів, які надають сюжету особливого колориту, роблять цю книгу унікальною. Вражає, як автор змушує читача задуматися про етику технологій, природу людства та наше місце у всесвіті. Рекомендую всім любителям наукової фантастики та тих, хто цінує глибокі, продумані сюжети!
