Вражаюча подорож у кримінальну історію Америки!

Ця книга є справжнім відкриттям для тих, хто цікавиться криміналістикою та історією США. Збірка нарисів пропонує читачеві зануритися в маловідомі, але надзвичайно цікаві події, які відбувалися в Америці в XIX - XX століттях. Автори майстерно описують не лише самі злочини, але й соціально-економічний контекст, у якому вони відбувалися, що дозволяє краще зрозуміти мотивацію злочинців та реакцію суспільства. Читачі можуть відчути атмосферу епохи індустріальної революції, побачити, як змінювався підхід до правозастосування та роботи правоохоронних органів. Хоча переклад тексту в деяких місцях залишає бажати кращого, загалом книга читається легко і захопливо.
