Charles Bukowski is a cult American writer of the 20th century, whose European popularity has always outstripped that of America (in Germany alone, the lifetime circulation of his books has exceeded two million), the author of more than forty books, including novels, poems, essays and short stories. Неперевершений портрет людської душі

Роман "Фактотум" Чарльза Буковскі - це справжня подорож у світ, де реальність і вигадка переплітаються в неймовірному танці. Генрі Чинаски, альтер его автора, стає символом вічного блукача, який намагається знайти своє місце у світі, сповненому хаосу і безглуздя. Книга вражає своєю відвертістю і шокуючим натуралізмом, але водночас в ній присутня глибока ліричність, яка змушує задуматися про сенс життя, пошуки щастя і самоідентифікацію. Буковскі майстерно передає атмосферу своєї епохи, а його персонажі живі і реалістичні, з усіма своїми слабкостями і недоліками. "Фактотум" - це не просто книга, це справжня філософія, яка залишає слід у душі читача. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які не заважають загальному сприйняттю, цей роман варто прочитати кожному, хто цінує глибокі, змістовні твори. Рекомендую всім шанувальникам літератури, яка змушує думати!
