Вражаюча та важлива книга про наше майбутнє

"Шосте вимирання" - це не просто наукова праця, а справжній заклик до дії. Елізабет Колберт майстерно поєднує наукові факти з емоційними історіями про зниклі види, що робить читання не лише інформативним, але й глибоко зворушливим. Книга пропонує нам зрозуміти, як діяльність людини впливає на біорізноманіття планети, і чому це питання є надзвичайно актуальним для всіх нас. Колберт не тільки аналізує причини вимирання, але й ставить запитання, які змушують задуматися: чи можемо ми змінити ситуацію? Чи здатні ми зупинити цю катастрофу? Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, книга все ж заслуговує на увагу.
