З самого початку читач занурюється в атмосферу загадки та напруги, коли Світлана, дочка знаменитого фокусника, приходить до детектива зі своєю жахливою історією. Автор вміло грає на емоціях читача, змушуючи його співпереживати героїні та відчувати її страх. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що може призвести до деяких недоліків у формулюваннях, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги.
