Автор майстерно переносить нас у часи, коли боги і герої населяли ці землі, дозволяючи відчути дух Сицилії через призму її легенд. Я була вражена глибиною дослідження, яке автор провів, описуючи не лише міфологічні місця, але й звичаї місцевих жителів.
