Цікаве дослідження виховання дітей у Вікторіанську епоху

Ця книга є справжньою знахідкою для тих, хто цікавиться історією виховання та соціальними нормами минулого. Автор зумів зібрати в одному місці безліч реальних рекомендацій та практик, які використовувалися у XIX столітті, що дозволяє читачеві поринути в атмосферу того часу. Хоча багато з цих методів можуть викликати подив і навіть сміх у сучасного читача, вони дають змогу зрозуміти, як змінювалися погляди на виховання дітей. Книга написана зрозумілою мовою, а переклад, хоч і має деякі недоліки, не заважає сприйняттю основної ідеї. Я б рекомендував цю книгу не лише батькам, а й усім, хто хоче глибше зрозуміти соціальні та культурні аспекти виховання дітей у минулому. Це справжня подорож у часі, яка дозволяє порівняти старі та нові підходи до виховання
