Книга "Втеча від свободи" Еріха Фромма є справжнім шедевром, який змушує задуматися над складними питаннями свободи, відповідальності та природи людського існування. Фромм, як видатний мислитель XX століття, майстерно аналізує, чому, незважаючи на досягнення цивілізації, людина часто обирає втечу від свободи на користь авторитаризму. Його аргументи про те, як соціальні та психологічні фактори впливають на наш вибір, є надзвичайно актуальними і сьогодні.
