Книга "Мекка. Біографія загадкового міста" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Вона пропонує унікальний погляд на це священне місто, яке, на жаль, недоступне для більшості з нас. Автор зумів зібрати безліч захоплюючих матеріалів, які не лише розкривають побут мекканців, але й показують глибину їхньої культури, традицій та історії. Мене вразила детальність описів розпорядку дня, кухні та соціальних відносин у Мекці, що дозволяє відчути атмосферу цього міста, навіть не відвідуючи його. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має деякі недоліки через технології штучного інтелекту, загалом він досить якісний і не заважає сприйняттю змісту.
