Вражаюча історія про моральний вибір та наслідки

"Розплата" - це книга, яка змушує задуматися про глибокі моральні питання та наслідки наших вчинків. Сюжет розгортається навколо Піта Бэннинга, ідеального чоловіка та батька, який раптово вчиняє жахливий злочин. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу південного містечка 1946 року, а також складнощі, з якими стикаються персонажі, намагаючись зрозуміти, чому Піт вчинив таку жахливу справу. Книга порушує питання про справедливість, віру та людську природу, залишаючи читача в роздумах про те, що може штовхнути людину на крайність. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, сюжет та глибина персонажів компенсують це, роблячи "Розплату" незабутнім читанням. Рекомендую всім, хто любить психологічні трилери з глибоким змістом!
