Важливий внесок у розуміння сучасного Близького Сходу

Ця книга є надзвичайно цінним ресурсом для всіх, хто цікавиться політичною ситуацією на Близькому Сході. Автори детально аналізують ключові проблеми, такі як арабо-ізраїльський конфлікт, модернізаційні процеси в Туреччині та революційні зміни в Ірані. Особливо вражає глибина дослідження націоналізму та політичного ісламу, що дозволяє читачеві краще зрозуміти корені сучасних конфліктів. Розділи, присвячені водним ресурсам та нафтовому фактору, надають важливу інформацію про економічні та екологічні виклики, з якими стикається регіон. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, загалом книга написана зрозуміло і доступно.
