Прогулки с палачом: взгляд на революцию

Эта книга стала для меня настоящим открытием. Автор мастерски передает атмосферу Французской революции через призму жизни палача, что делает повествование уникальным и захватывающим. Чтение дневника Сансона позволяет глубже понять не только его личные переживания, но и общественные настроения того времени. Палач, который ранее был изгоем, становится центральной фигурой, и это создает интересный контраст. Однако, несмотря на увлекательный сюжет, некоторые моменты показались мне затянутыми, а описания казней — слишком детализированными. Это может оттолкнуть чувствительных читателей. В целом, книга заставляет задуматься о природе смерти и справедливости, и я рекомендую её тем, кто интересуется историей и философией.
