Автор мастерски описывает две эпохи: расцвет герцогства в середине XV века и его упадок в начале XVI века. Главная героиня, Маргарита, проходит через множество испытаний, включая любовь, предательство и войны, что делает её образ очень многогранным и запоминающимся. Особенно впечатляет, как автор передаёт атмосферу времени, используя яркие детали и исторические факты. Однако, стоит отметить, что некоторые моменты могут показаться затянутыми, и не всем читателям будет легко следить за множеством персонажей.
