Автор вміло поєднує елементи містики та наукової фантастики, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Персонажі, зокрема Джоні Гленгалл, вражають своєю глибиною та емоційністю, а пошуки танамора, який може повернути душу і розум, додають інтриги.
