Книга "Битва за Київ. 1941 рік" О. І. Нуждина є надзвичайно важливим внеском у вивчення історії Другої світової війни, зокрема оборони Києва. Автор детально розглядає ключові моменти та події, які призвели до трагедії Південно-західного фронту, і робить акцент на тих аспектах, які досі залишалися в тіні. Читач має можливість глибше зрозуміти стратегії та тактики, які використовувалися під час оборони, а також людські трагедії, що супроводжували ці події.
