At the heart of this book is the idea of unconditional acceptance of life and an all-encompassing "reverence for life." It is based on theology, which grows out of life experience, comprehended not in the spirit of the times, but in the spirit of the philosophy of life, and opposes the Enlightenment machine. According to the author, an outstanding contemporary theologian, the Word of God does not exist outside the human experience of the Spirit of God. This experience of the Spirit is expressed not only in words, but as diversely as the reality perceived by the senses itself. It is the non-verbal dimension that indicates that the word obeys the Spirit, and not vice versa, and that the Spirit and the word are in a relationship that cannot be considered exclusive and comprehended only by the intellect.
