Walter Беньямин began to write "Street one-way" in 1924 as a "book of matches for friends" (plaquette). She went out in light in 1928 in a publishing house "Rowohlt" in parallel with major from complete labours of Беньямина - by "Origin of German bargee drama", and devoted Ace Лацис (1891-1979) - to the Latvian stage-director and actress, with that Беньямин became acquainted on Capri in 1924. Setting of беньяминовских characters - to compel to begin to speak things, to explain dreams, see/to show that in what to the author/it was before said no to the reader. A "street one-way" - it the book of the deceived hopes and anxious expectations. And yet: in this book it is possible among child's toys, remembrances about the forever gone life, old interiors and new certificates of quiet narrow-minded gladness, looking closely, to distinguish already settling there power of revolution a long ago. Her rhythm - it not heavy soldier's step, and amble of beloved, and, she already a long ago won a victory in our hearts.
