A monograph is original morphological and technological research of organs and fabrics of the African ostrich, considered in the context of conception of the deep processing of products of страусоводства. Morphological data are of interest for the decision of fundamental tasks of biology, including adaptations of organs and fabrics of animals to the terms of habitation. A brief review over of data of literature is brought on different to the aspects of biology of the African ostrich. The educed technological descriptions of the organs and fabrics, considered as a feedstock, processing the products of страусоводческих economies, are examined taking into account ресурсосберегающей motivation and possible processing pilot-scale. As basic products of страусоводства bringing the most perceptible profit is ostrich leather raw material and feathers, the special place is taken to research of morphology of dermic-pen cover of ostrich. Morphological features and technological aspects of practically all spectrum of products of страусоводства (skin, hypodermic fat, feathers, claws, muscular fabric, shell of eggs, trachea, gullet, eyes, brain) open up with the different degree of working out in detail. The analysis of history (up to present tense) of страусоводства is given in a short form, passing a few stages of becoming and development. Economic pre-conditions being the basis of conception of ресурсосбережения in страусоводстве are discussed.
