У цій книзі автори змогли вдало поєднати нові відкриття археологів, палеонтологів, етологів та генетиків з цікавими теоріями, що дозволяють нам краще зрозуміти наше походження та еволюцію. Читаючи цю книгу, я відчував себе справжнім дослідником, який крок за кроком розгадує загадки нашої історії. Особливо вражаючою була для мене теорія "культурного драйву", яка пояснює швидке збільшення об'єму мозку в еволюції Homo sapiens.
