Ludwig Thoma (1867–1921) was a German writer who realistically portrayed everyday life in Bavaria at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.There were seven children in the Thoma family, and one of the best works of the writer, « Hooligan Stories”, is based on his memories of childhood and school time.Thomas wrote about the tricks of the little mischievous Ludwig so captivatingly that for over 100 years more and more generations of not only children, but also adults.The purpose of the manual is to teach reading German texts, their analysis and development of practical speaking skills in German.
