"Micromegas" is a philosophical and fantastic novel by Voltaire, a French educator and writer. The main character, an alien Micromegas from a distant star system, arrives on Earth with his friends, huge aliens. They communicate with earthlings, he is surprised by the infinity of the universe and the shortcomings of human intelligence. Feeling like dwarfs compared to aliens, earthlings understand their modesty and limitations compared to the immensity of space.
