The plot of the book revolves around Duke Viggio, who decides to test the local inhabitants of the Duchy of Vidiene, while using various strategies to lead to the solution of the case of the vicar Lorenzo and his deadly misdeed. The book "Measure by Measure" leaves behind many questions and to this day remains one of the most relevant works of Shakespeare, able to put the reader before an important choice between moral values and a strict judgment.
