Михайло Алексєєв майстерно передає емоції та переживання маленького героя, який спостерігає за змінами в житті своєї родини та села. Його спостереження про жорстокість і несправедливість того часу вражають своєю правдою та щирістю. Книга спонукає замислитися над важкими уроками історії та їх впливом на людські долі. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можуть бути неточності, це не зменшує загальної цінності твору.
