Private detective Tatyana Ivanova is hired by Anastasia Kostromskaya. Just recently, her only son Arkady was hit and killed by a car in the yard of his own house. Anastasia Valentinovna is sure: Arkady was killed on purpose. In addition, she is haunted by another incident that happened immediately after the death of her son: someone unknown planted an envelope with a significant amount of money in their mailbox. Kostromskaya has no idea who and, most importantly, why he sent her American dollars.
