Making History (1996) is the third novel by Stephen Fry. The plot involves the creation of an alternative historical time line, one where Adolf Hitler never existed. While most of the book is written in standard prose, a couple of chapters are written in the format of a screenplay. The chapters with this style of writing tend to be action-heavy and allow a lot of information to be shared in a relatively short space of time. The book won the Sidewise Award for Alternate History.

Вражаюча альтернативна історія, яка змушує задуматися!

Книга "Створення історії" Стівена Фрая – це неймовірно захоплюючий роман, який пропонує читачеві унікальну можливість зазирнути в альтернативну реальність, де Адольфа Гітлера ніколи не існувало. Автор майстерно переплітає елементи історії з вигадкою, створюючи динамічний та інтригуючий сюжет. Особливо цікавою є структура книги, де частина розділів написана у форматі сценарію, що надає їй особливого ритму та насиченості. Це дозволяє читачеві швидше зануритися в події та краще зрозуміти персонажів. Хоча переклад книги здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можуть бути неточності, це не заважає загальному враженню від читання.
