According to Christopher Tolkien, the writer’s son, John Tolkien always had a weakness for “northern” versification and repeatedly used accented verse, stylizing some of his works as ancient Germanic poetry. Велична подорож у світ Толкіна

Ця книга - справжній скарб для всіх шанувальників творчості Джона Толкіна. "Смерть Артура" не лише пропонує читачеві чудову поему, але й занурює в глибокий аналіз творчого процесу автора, що робить її неймовірно цінною. Крістофер Толкін вміло передає дух батькових творів, розкриваючи зв'язки між "Смертю Артура" та "Сільмарилліоном". Читання цієї книги - це не просто задоволення від поетичного слова, а й можливість зрозуміти, як формувався світ, який ми знаємо з "Володаря Кільця". Хоча переклад, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, має деякі недоліки, загальна якість тексту вражає. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто хоче глибше зануритися у творчість Толкіна та оцінити його геніальність
